This page kind of seems to do more harm than good, in terms of storytelling. The previous page seems like it would have actually been a stronger, or at least more conclusive, ending.

I understand that the creator wanted to bookend the comic in the same time period (firmly placing the bulk of it as a flashback), but it's just not done as well as it should be. More than anything else, this page feels like an afterthought after the true ending. Maybe another page to further elaborate on what we're seeing would have helped... There are a lot of details that the readers are left to cobble together explanations for on their own (the villain's confusion about her being awake, for example).

Relating to the comment about the comic being a porno, I understand that but this page was clearly created and added for plot purposes, and contributes nothing to the pornographic aspects of the comic, so we can only judge it based on its storytelling impact and effect.

That being said, the art is as stellar as ever, so at least there was that? The hole in the fabric over her breast doesn't quite look like a natural tear, if I'm going to be nitpicky, but it's still far better than anything I could ever hope to draw. Hopefully we'll see more by this artist on the hub!

Both from story and porn standpoints, the comic ruins it's own climax.

For some people a coherent plot helps keep porn on track. A discordant story can be enough to throw one off their rhythm. The way some people prefer reading porn rather than looking at pictures

It's a porno comic. Of course the plot isn't important ya nerds.

Most of the story is a flashback, if that helps.

My understanding:


Dr. Hayes is a teacher and secretly evil. Ariela is a student and secretly some kind of heroine. Hayes has Ariela come to his office, and uses scented candles to put her in a trance. Then he rapes her, in the process "impregnating" her with a tentacle thing, presumably in preparation for his evil plot (which we never really learn about).

Then I guess off-panel he dresses her back up and probably wakes her up and says "you dozed off, go to bed" and she heads home none the wiser.

Two weeks later, Hayes has put his evil plot into action, and does something that puts everyone to sleep, but Ariela resists this because of her unspecified heroine powers. She's unwittingly still full of tentacle thing, and he has it go squish squish in her to shock her. She fights anyway.

And yeah, the pool skips from page 7 to page 9 for some reason.

The quality takes an obvious hit, to be sure, but the fact that it can be created this quickly is a testament to how important porn is to human society.
