Seriously, I would watch it over and over when she was repeating that. I recall feeling three specific things...
one, I loved how just just immediately fell under as SOON as she heard the radio.
two, her voice actress's delivery of it. She REALLY gets into the mindless mantra thing when she voices it. She was such a mindless, obedient zombie the way she said that, I loved it.
and three, she was totally unaware of her surroundings. It was lovely, I thought.
The only bad memory I have about the episode was that I kinda got caught "enjoying" this scene as a kid watching this on CBS Saturday Morning. I thought everyone was in bed, but it turns out, I hear a sharp "HEY!" from the other room and was being glared at, demanding an explanation. ....it was not good times.
..still love the scene, though. Living on my own means I can watch it whenever I want, now. :P
