Huh. I don't normally go for spiral eyes. However, the way you did this, something about the angles and the spiral and the lenseflare making a sort of glass/reflective look makes it kind of surreal to me... and... for some reason that makes it hotter. Like you hit some uncanny valley of on those eyes and the disconnect is sexy instead of disturbing.

I... rather doubt that's what you were going for but I gotta say I like it. And, it's possible that it's just me looking too close but seeing the closeup on your avie made me notice it. ^.^;

What program is this

Isn't that just erasing it? I mean at least in that tutorial, you don't re-use it for anything, so it should be fine if you just erase it.

If you're looking to actually cut and keep it, I use the lasso tool in photoshop to make a circle around the eyes, then right click -> Layer via Cut.

Another way is to just duplicate the image and mask everything BUT the eyes if you want to make changes later (say you want to un-erase some parts of the eye because you erased too much)

Could we get a better explanation on the "cutting out eyes" part? That's always the hard part for me...
