Yes! This was one of my favorite hypno scenes in cartoons!

I think what also helps is that Koga is relatively in character here. Keeping Kohga's rather endearing personality helps to take away from the ugly bastard aesthetic.

taking a quick break from posting, there's (i think) 15 more, I need to eat, and now the pool technically has hypnosis in it.

The clashing colors was kind of a deliberate choice- she's supposed to be almost visually annoying to look at- like she's not supposed to be in a well-lit space.

I also look inspiration from algae (green and slimy) and sulfur (the orange), since she'd be from the deep ocean.
