To me the only option is definitely to double down on fixing her, we know that kyou can rebuild the penlight or at leasted stated that he can since he has the necessary data saved on his computer. This is not the time to revert back into classic kyou behavior and decide to leave her dependent on him.

Of course the first option, if you lost the only tool able to fix her, there's no option than take care of her
