Artist Commentary:

Brainwashed Maria from Fire Emblem Mystery of the Emblem/Fire Emblem Heroes. As 4 years have passed from the opening to the ending, I tried to draw her a grown-up lady.
This time I put Japanese lines and English lines on the same page to reduce the number of pages.

No it doesnt. You can read the wiki, but it basically just has to do with some shenanigans where your opponent guesses which of the cards in your hand is a Tsuch, and if Im reading the rules right, you can Special Summon it regardless of whether they guessed correctly.

This particular design of it is also based on a Yu-gi-oh card titled Danger?! Tsuchinoko? that was made along with other cards for other cryptids.

I don't know if the original artist is going to read my comment, though, now that I think about it. Hope they will. ^^;

This is coming from someone who has never studied animation, so it's a very humble critique, but one thing I have noticed is that 2D video games could get away with characters being completely static at times, while 3D games had idle animations ever since the N64 era. I know it's replicating a specific shot from a scene, but Sumire looks pretty weird on 1:36 due to her total lack of movement. I would have at least added a subtle breathing animation. That would do for a great adaptation of the shot to the new format.
Having said that, great job over all. Keep it up. :D
