On that note, please stop linking directly to a png of the image as the source. Either link the derpibooru page or the original artist's twitter post if available.
To people flagging this and other art from the same pack as paywall content: From what I can tell they were uploaded to derpibooru by either the author of the art pack (Ebonyglow) or the individual artists themselves, so they're fine.
You know I'm not sure who is controlling who. Rarity has the spiral horn, but Spike has the color. Screw it, I'm saying the book is controlling both of them.

Hey since Mutant Mayhem is out now are u gonna draw a follow up pic 4 this?
Maybe, but not yet. There's a 2D animated series coming up and I'd want to watch that first to get a better feel for this April as a character. She was decently characterized in the movie, but I'd like to see more of her.
Plus... let's not kid ourselves here. Mutant Mayhem April is still in high school, and for obvious reasons I'm wary of doing nude art of characters who are canonically under 18.
All the other Aprils are definitely above 18... even 2012 April and Rise April are at least 18 in their canonical last appearances, even if they're like 16 when their respective shows start.
Mutant Mayhem April... we don't know her exact age, but she can't be older than 16-17 at most.
Kaa's gaze may not be impossible to avoid, but he zaps Bagheera with it in seconds even though he definitely knows about Kaa's tricks, so it's not as easy as all that either...
Well, but that's Bagheera. He's a bigger butt-monkey than Kaa is.
Disney's Bagheera is a million miles away from the strong, competent, elegant hunter from Kipling's book... pretty much all Bagheera does in the Disney animated movies is get beat up a lot. Just check The Jungle Book 2, where it gets REALLY dialed up to eleven -- if Bagheera's in a scene he's GOING to be the victim of some slapstick. He gets trampled, beat up, falls into the water, and in general if anything bad happens it happens to him.
Kaa being able to hypnotize him easily, even if he's aware of the risk, definitely tracks.

This comic is sort of my counter to all that. I'm glad you enjoy my interpretation, but really the look into the character's psyche isn't particularly deep. It's more that I acknowledge that he HAS a psyche. ^_^
Well, I thank you for this! I'm enjoying this a lot, which is more than I can honestly say about most Kaa-centric comics. I tend to Iike or love about 90% of the content that shows up in my search results on the hub, but Kaa content has often been a contributor to the remaining 10. Not enough to blacklist but enough that I avoid it on bad days.
I love your comic (last page included), and look foreword to what you do next!

To be perfectly honest, I'm not a fan of Kaa's common characterization in hypno-art either. He's a marvellous character in the original Jungle Book movie; the animation and how he moves is just so GOOD. He's less impressively-animated in the follow-up projects. but he at least has some funny moments and nice dialogue. your writing is very good... it's hard to find writing that seems aimed at girls like this with less emphasis on the physical and more emphasis on the psychological... well done!!
"Femsub spiral eyes manip" is a classic! Just like Cheerios, vanilla ice cream, McDonald's, and Lay's Sure they might be generic but they're certainly not bland
While a Blue Candle illuminates an area, the Dark World equivalent dims down Bunny Link's mind. Unless someone helps him snap out of it, he might stay in that place, playing with himself mindlessly as that haze settles over his thoughts.
