I've been all digital for 8 years now and I still have a nice physical collection for my older stuff but the digital stuff is always been easier to manage, I've always been able to re-download the when I got a new switch or the ps5 tbh the only problem I see is if they shut down the entire psn network witch I just flat out don't see happening, I can still go back and download all my digital games on the ps3 it has literally never been an issue. Hell its saved my ass multiple times with just moving games over to a USB, and its not like physical media is forever there's disk rot and half of my nes are forever lost due to age. digital is the way to go we can preserve that just as much if not better. hell to preserve any game we have to dump them digitally but all of this is futile because nothing is forever I'm sure people in 100 won't remember The Outer Worlds or raving rabbits and our efforts to preserve them will be in vain.
Hm, instead of "redraw" maybe something like "traced" would have a better connotation? Since traced sounds like it is below an artist?
I actually don't like the term "ai art" because in my opinion the technical ability to fill in the same details that thousands of others have done before is not the artistic part. It's the composition which is still entirely Sleepy Gimp in this case.
There is a 0% chance that with prompting alone you could get even the most advanced generative models to create something close to this. And things like nuanced facial expressions require an actual artist's touch. Comparing this to the original is an excellent example since Sleepy Gimp's faces carry a personality with them and this image loses that.
Hot! Nice to see more busty femdom with pendulum hypno ^^
(And I don't see why people are complaining about AI. The uploader tagged it as 'ai art' so those who don't want to see it can just do a negative search. And the original art piece was also credited. Not like they tried to pass it off as their own creation)
