@violetriot Yeap: the limitation to the 3D style is that while 99,9% of the time hands and feet are perfectly generated, the very few times they are not... well, it's atrociously hard to fix. Somehow didn't expect to see Unkai's works here, but I had to get on and translate as soon as I saw it. I usually just read the novels that he posts on pixiv, but he also draws plenty of his OCs in various brainwashing situations on twitter. If you know some Japanese then I really recommend reading his stuff, especially if you like seeing great characters being great and then seeing them lose and brainwashed and enslaved.

These characters are from one of Unkai's series, "" ("Taimashi Haiboku Monogatari", lit. Exorcist Losing Story) which is basically a collection of stories of the super-talented genius exorcist Jinguuji Inori losing and getting brainwashed by Youma (demons). The characters are consistent, but the stories are unconnected in that Inori and her friends/family will lose and become slaves for a Youma in one story, but start the next story as if nothing happened. This lets Unkai explore all sorts of different situations well past a point of no return and it's always freaking great. The casino where the chips are parts of your soul, a cult headed by a "godly" Youma that can read and manipulate your thoughts, a kappa Youma that steals emotions... All fantastic reads.
