I actually haven't. I watched DBZ as a kid and some Ghibli movies(not knowing they were anime), but that was my experience with anime as a child. I didn't start watching anime again til like a year ago when I was 20, and I'm not really a fan of long running anime like Naruto, DBZ, and Sailor Moon. I did watch Madoka Magica though, so I was totally shocked when it was all magical girls and lolis, then bam! that. I even thought Mami was going to be wished back at a point from Madoka's wish, took me awhile to figure out that show was just using magical girls as a cape to pull over on you.
