My thoughts had been that letting the Satyr take control of us (which was obviously what talking to her would do) would be effectively the same as choosing to head back to the spider cave, but with a hit to our suggestibility. Plus whatever the heck happened to Valerie, which would probably not have happened if we didn't give the satyr a free pass to do whatever, but I don't think we had any reason to suspect that specific problem would happen.

Meh, I'm hands off at this point. I've stopped being able to even remotely gauge what any given choice will result in. It's like one of those word problems where there's two trees of sentence fragments and you're supposed to connect from point A to B so each one makes sense- Except now point A is connecting to point F, B to X and it's just word salad. I was part of a CL RP where I played Sissy, a while back. She was a fun character for throwing everyone else's plans and plotlines in unexpected directions. Looks like she won't have that opportunity here, though... :3
