I'm not upset about it and I appreciate the gesture, but I'd also prefer that you (or anyone else) make the decision to make a post a child post on my behalf in the future.

In the present system, making a post a child post also hides it from view when just browsing the site (not using tags), so it does inherently limit the reach of a post. This makes sense when the child posts are largely the same in content and posted in quick succession, where otherwise it would be a lot all at once on the front page, but I don't believe that applies to this duology.

This one has been up for a decent amount of time by now, so it being a child isn't going to kill it or anything, but if you want to link posts on my behalf I would prefer that you create a pool, which prevents images from being hidden.

Sorry, that was a lot to write about this, but I didn't want to just say "Yeah it's fine" because at the end of the day the main thing that keeps me going is seeing how people react to the posts. Also, I know this probably came off as very negative pls don't feel bad about adding it as a child, I didn't know about the hiding thing for the longest time (even after doing it myself), so I do not blame you for doing so; I just wanted to explain why I have an issue with it.
