It's the same site, but exhentai is a filter that need to have an e-hentai account.
Otherwise you got a sadpanda picture everything you click on an exhentai link.

Basically, in exhentai there are all the e-hentai files and other ones censored from e-hentai (loli/shota for example)

Nhentai (for me) is much better, you can see some doujins what E-hentai don't upload, but E-hentai have western shits so...the two pages are good so far.

Exhentai includes forbidden contents such as gores and underaged stuff as well as full scans of some magazines that usually can't be posted in the open site, so mostly they are the same unless you want more high resolution/ quality scans or into some specific fetishes

It went down for a month or so while they were switching server locations, but it's back up now.

you gotta go through a tedious process of copying the cookies in e-hentai to exhentai, also need to modify some contents in there I believe. There's a post with instructions in 2018 that miraculously works, try searching it on the net, I lost the link unfortunately.

you got to manually enter the https:// . if you dont your browser will think you are attempting to connect to http:// and exhentai seems to only be accessible from https://

Try opening a tab using Incognito mode on your browser (you will need to login on e-hentai first on the incognito tab for that)

i know this is old af but just to help out with clearer instructions i always do the following -it becomes quick after the couple first times-
first log into e-hentai.... open exhentai, clear cookies, refresh.
[on chrome i just click on the 'lock icon in the address bar click on cookies, click remove and done]

exhentai.org had an update on their site about a year ago I believe, now you'd need to go to e-hentai.org, go to forum, create an account there, then log into the site, then go to exhentai.org, if it's a blank page then delete all the cookies, then refresh and you're good.
