Pardon my lack of understanding, but having gone through the content guidelines to be sure, there seems to be no "rule against flashing subliminals" on this site.

I'm open to it having been tagged seizure_warning (I didn't consider the speed of images enough and figured it wasn't warranted because the text was slow). But I don't see what rule prevents it from existing if tagged this way.

Seizure warning seems to fit. But this doesn't seem to be a bad thing to have here. I like it, and would be pretty annoyed to see it go...

In reply to the moderation flag - I could be crazy, but I'm not seeing a rule against flashing images, or flashing subliminals. And regardless, wouldn't the seizure_warning tag (which includes other pictures flashier than this one) be enough to protect anyone with problems with flashing, since they could easily blacklist the tag?

There's no rule against this sort of thing, specifically - which to be honest kind of raises a question to me.

Why aren't there, like, 9001 images on here that are nothing but a seizure-ific slideshow of anime girls with subliminal messages overlaid? There's a lot of them on various porn-sites and on YouTube.

That's...a very good question. Because having spoken to the manipper, she said these are definitely very easy and quick to make. And she wondered why there was so little of these that they don't even have their own tag on here !
