And here's the picture I drew for the Biweekly Request Round over at my Patreon. The theme was music, and the request was "a marionette dancing to hypnotic music." Like so often before, I decided to put my own spin on the idea.

Lady Vidia of the Spring Court hasn't appeared much on this site yet, but she is one of my oldest characters. She's a Fae, more specifically an elf (not the D&D type of elves; these elves are older, more folkloric, and not necessarily good guys), she's the mother of Sovanna and Jenny Jump... and on the hypno-scene she's probably my most unambiguously DOMME character.

For a Fae she's actually unusually gentle, forgiving and nutruring, to the point where she has the reputation as a bit of a softie. Unlike many Fae, she really likes mortals, and she will sometimes give aid and protection to those in need... but that doesn't mean she can't be dangerous. She's got a bit of an impish streak, and while you're not likely to suffer violence or lethal curses from her hand, if you encounter her when she's in a playful mood... when, then you might be subject to all kinds of transformations, mind-control, brainwashing, and being toyed with in various ways. It's nothing personal, it's just that she thinks you're so CUTE when you're helpless in her power...

This particular girl made the mistake of telling Lady Vidia that "I'm not your puppet!" and so of course Vidia had to prove her wrong... besides, she'd recently seen the movie Pinocchio for the first time, and the set-up was just too good to ignore.



I actually wrote more of the song, but it turned out to be a little too much to include all of it in the pic, so I decided to just have the first two verses. But here's the song in full:

Mostly Pinocchio. While it could always be higher, human puppets/puppeting has a decent tag count. Song parodies are very hit-and-miss with me, but I'll confess to being a bit of a snob about things like that. (I do appreciate this one, though.)
