Commission for SamuraiCowboy231 who wanted to see her character, Elkantar, in a dress and zombie walking while saying she serves the King in Yellow. I have no idea who the King in Yellow is, but I'm paid to make smut, not to know things, so whatever.

P sure it's a Lovecraft reference, so we all have to roll for sanity.

Ah yes, this is a different version of Elkantar, named Elkantar Sharen. She is a Drow with Fire Giant DNA, and is an Oath of Glory Paladin and Great Old One Multiclass, and yes, her patron is Hastur, AKA the King in Yellow.

and yes, Hastur is part of the Cthulhu Mythos, but he's actually not a creation of Lovecraft. In fact, Hastur predates the Cthulhu mythos.

Yeah, the KiY was originally created by the author Robert W. Chambers, in a 1895 book of the same name. Tho a reader never actually meets him in person in the book, just get references to him/a cursed fictional play about him.

He existed even before that in the short story "Haita the Shepherd" by Ambrose Bierce, where he was actually a benevolent God of Shepherds.
