Ming sends the brainwashed woman to spy on his nemesis, Mandrake the Magician. Technically this isn't tech control as the headband is actually a monitoring device, but it looks so much like a mind control headband that I'm sure it must serve a dual purpose.

I'd have thought so too, but Ming himself is all 'Mandrake the Magician, my old adversary', so I guess he has two nemesises. Nemeses. Nemesi?

I mean, the only reason I know what Defenders of the Earth are is because of that one Robot Chicken sketch, so I guess lending Ming to put over other characters is probably smart. But Flash is so much the King of the Impossible that he's the only reason the New York Jets have been relevant in the past 50 years.
