So not only do we have Lucy in a new corruption form, but she is also a sort of mixed sub and dom in this situation.

Ah its beginning, I want to draw some of this myself but, A. I want to see how it turns out, B. I want to see what happens with the others, C. I'm still afraid its going to be a fake out or be undone within a single chapter, and finally D. Oh lord my hats off to artists who actually draw all those scales

I'm not sure if it's going to be a fake out, but we'll just have to see what happened. Not the first time something like this happened to an FT girl

I mean... she's not gonna stay a monster... so it's a fake-out if that's what you mean...it just depends how long till they -poof- her back... unless 1000 mission has changed ALOT more about the narrative structure then I expected..it's still a shonen :p
at the very best I would expect her to maaaaybe beable to jump in and out of the form...and that's being unhealthily optimistic :)

I mean yeah, she's going to be turned back, but this could last for a few chapters. Only way I see this as a "fake-out" is if it's a look alike creation and the real girls are fine, just watching their boy friends struggle not to hurt them. But Selene did say "former friend" so could be the real Lucy

Or she said that to make him think it's really her but is in fact not. But yeah if it is, it won't last long. Five, seven chapters tops

Yeah. But that's my maximum estimation. So it could be 3 or 4. We'll see. If this was an anime, this chapter may take up five minutes

Very true, she's an enslaved human turned monster, but also is a man-eater, and has a man conveniently in her coils.

I doubt it will be a fake out, but being undone in a single chapter does seem possible.

If I were to hazard a guess, we'll see a chapter of Nure-onna Lucy, a chapter of whatever Erza (and likely Wendy) have become, and then Irene will wake up inside of Wendy and show her how to disenchant the girls.

I love that type of cocky dialogue, the confident villain outright declaring that their friend is no more.

Now I wonder if Lucy is actually still herself or truly brainwashed. If the former, I hope she flirts with and flusters Natsu with her new look.
