Yeah well, I wanna say unlikely, but Selene will lose. It's only a matter of time. Like I said this could last between 5 and 10 chapters. I like Wendy's more though. Not that into snake girls.

I know the good guys are gonna win, obviously it's inevitable. But damn, I just hope this MC goes on for awhile.

Boy, am I with you on that one. Mashima teased us with a possibility of multiple succubus slaves, and Tartaros demon TF, and Fairy Girls VERY briefly had Lucy, Erza and Juvia turned into brainwashed servants of the villains, but in 100 Year Quest, he's delivering.

I just pray we don't get expectations undermined in the worst way and find that Erza was too powerful, or her artificial eye protected her, or some other excuse and couldn't be corrupted.

Oh yeah, I agree completely with you. If there's anyone in Fairy Tail I want to see corrupted the most in canon, it's Erza. Purely just because she's supposed to be the most mentally strong of the group and her being turned would really do it for me (I don't follow the series so I could be wrong about her being mentally strong). I know there's the Hub for that, but there's just something so tantalizing about having the characters be corrupted and brainwashed in the canon. I guess it's just the genuine nature of it that makes it better for me.

Totally with you. She's the strongest female mage, nicknamed Titania Queen of the Fairies, saves the day as much as anyone, and is practically the symbol of guild as much as Natsu is.

Considering the prolonged torture she endured during the Tartaros arc, she almost certainly is. That's why seeing her strength "cut" by Kyria (leaving Erza a pleading, timid weakling) was so effective. But like when she was tortured by Kyouka, it was really just used to abuse her, which is definitely fanservice for some, but not what I was after.

I want proactive, aware, corrupted Erza more than anything.

Yep. I've commissioned many, many pics of corrupted Erza, but it will so much more satisfying to see it being official. I hope they have her behave more akin to Lucy, who is more serious than the cute, comedic Wendy tf.
I've been perusing through various yokai, and many of them would be amazing. One in particular is a Jorōgumo, who is a spider-monster that can take the form of a beautiful woman. Imagine thy find normal looking Erza, and are happy she wasn't transformed, but as soon as they turn their backs on her, she sprouts spider legs and a thorax and attacks Natsu and Gray.

Some others which could lend themselves to some nice horror would be a Futakuchi-onna or a Rokurokubi.
