Can someone explain to me where the eye-cover thing comes from in Fire Emblem, though? TWAQ has a good NTR comic with Celica being a slave and she has something similar to that on, too. Is it from one of the games?

I can't really speak about that Celica comic but this visor was based on this post hypnohub.net/post/show/76...dfold-blonde_hair-blue_ey

and that post was based on Saber Alter from Fate Stay Night.

Maybe its just a common thing in hentai? I know I think they're pretty hot.

I see it and think of Saber Alter from fate/stay night, who has that same visor. I think it works for FE because enemies grunts tends to have helmets and/or visors. Thus, a subservient brainwashed character having a visor would make sense thematically.
