I commissioned a two part piece based on a mind control scenario from the TNG episode ‘The Game’. I posted gifs from that episode here before and I hoped it would have sparked some inspiration for someone to give it a shot art wise but alas it was not to be. So I had a Thanos moment and thought Fine, I'll do it myself and here is what I came up with. I went with a bit of an odd choice by choosing the character Selar as she only appeared in one episode and had barely any speaking lines but gosh darn is she cute. Something about Vulcan girls really hits the spot for me and Dr. Crusher and Troi have been done to death so I thought I'd be a bit more unique with this one. There are a lot of small side characters in Trek that I want to give the limelight in the future and you’ll see a couple in the next piece too. I also put together a little story to give context to the pieces and connect them together so click the spoiler tag if you’re interested in giving that a read.
It was a big day for the Enterprise as peace talks between the Federation and the Romulans had started to properly get underway with Romulus’ top ambassadors arriving on the ship to start negotiations with the Klingsons and Humans. Everyone on the ship was working hard to make sure the talks would run as smoothly as possible with one crew member in particular, Lieutenant Selar doing her best to make sure everyone in Sick Bay was being properly looked after. Tensions were high and she could feel her exhaustion building as the end of her long and stressful shift approached. The lack of help from Dr. Crusher made things even more difficult as she was too busy messing around with some new craze that had taken over the ship. A headset that beamed some kind of game simulation into the player's mind keeping them completely immersed. Selar had no interest in the device despite Beverly’s insistence on how great it was. Those kinds of distractions were not only illogical but also extremely unprofessional. She made a note to have a meeting with the Captain to report this unacceptable behaviour and hopefully bring some order to the ship but that would have to wait a little longer.
Selar barely made it to her quarters before collapsing onto her bed and falling into a deep slumber. She didn’t even bother to change out of her uniform. In a state so comfortable and restful that she couldn’t even hold her stoic Vulcan composure, loudly snoring away and leaving a puddle of drool to collect on her pillow. She was so deep in sleep that she didn’t even hear some strangers enter her room. Even if she was aware she was too tired to even open her eyes to check who it was. However, slowly but surely she started to drift away from her pleasant dreams and come back to reality as she felt someone touching her face, opening her eyes, trying to force her to back to consciousness. As she woke she could just about make out two strangers standing over her. With a little more time she started to recognise the two individuals to be Romulan and Klingon women. Before she could say a word she felt something slip onto her head and after a slight shock she saw a kind of holographic disk appear in front of her face. Without even thinking she started to focus on the disk, getting it to move into a tube which caused an intense surge of pleasure to pulse through her body, a feeling that was uncommon to this emotionless Vulcan. Just like that another disk appeared, and another, and another until it was too late. Selar had finally discovered the wonderful pleasure of ‘the game’.
Glad you made some art from this episode. I know nothing of Star Trek and was probably interested in the sexy 80s workout outfits but this always had so much potential~
