This was an old favorite of mine! <3
I had no idea that you made this, MCaesar. Which is funny, since your name is on it. :3

Since I noticed my manips floating around in places I didn't put them (like here), I decided I should probably start signing my work, so folks who like it can track it back to me and see my other stuff. So I'm going back and adding signatures to all my old stuff I'm uploading now. So you don't remember my name on it because it wasn't there before.

That would certainly explain that, yes.
For a while, I thought I was just blind. XD

She was too curious for her own good.
That's what the young fairy’s elders had always told her. Fortunately, her ability to get herself into trouble was matched by her quick wit to get herself out. Everyone else said that she was just lucky, but the headstrong sprite was confident she could handle anything the forest could throw at her. Even the vaunted “Gloomglenn.”
No one ever went there, because of all the stories. The elders even forbid it. But that’s just because they were scared, she thought. How bad could it be? Sure;y there were no such things as the dangers in the stories. They told of ridiculous things like “widow-skitters,” “Trap Blossoms,” or “humans.”
So one fateful afternoon, the arrogant fairy decided to see what was so special about the Gloomglenn. She noticed immediately that the canopy got thicker, making everything... well, gloomy. She'd been in fluttering around for nearly a couple hours by the time she first smelled it.
The scent that wafted into her nose was sweet. Very sweet. At first she just hovered and sniffed it in. It was so good, she just had to find its hovered and sniffed it in. It was so good, she desperately searching for more of the scent. Then she caught glimpse of a large flower in the distance.
It was beautiful. She floated dreamily toward it, transfixed by its vibrate colors, by the way its petals swayed in the gentle breeze. Landing near the center, she inhaled deeply and smiled. By the time she felt the sticky tendrils wrapping around her legs, she was too far gone to care.
If she had listened to the stories more closely, she would have known that the Trap Blossom is a magical fly trap that feeds on lust. It lures its prey in with sugary fragrances and enticing colors and then it numbs their minds and ignites their bodies with its sticky, nectar-covered feelers. There the trapped creatures remain, sustained by the sap, to live out their days in the Blossom’s embrace.
