I feel like the „after“ designs should have at least some aspects of the original designs. As it currently is it‘s virtually no different from them getting some aspects of their regular bodies exaggerated.
What I‘m trying to say is, it doesn‘t really sell the idea that Katara and Toph were transformed into one another. It just looks like Garden Variety bimbofication(or whatever you call what happened to Katara)

That's completely fair! This is based off a few conversations a friend and I had bouncing ideas back and forth. It ended with after them turning into each other their traits get exaggerated. Not everyone's cup of tea though, I fully acknowledge.
