This was my first time ever making this type of empty eyes manip using the steps laid out by TheKinkyFinn. I had to go a little above and beyond the steps to make it work well with this image, though.
I actually remembered, after posting this, that I had tried something like this in the past. I forgot all about it, in fact. I didn't care much for it at the time because I wasn't good enough to take full advantage of it, yet. I also didn't do it quite the same way.

It's not so much a tutorial as it is a step-by-step explanation of what he does. It's his first comment on post #11682. It's pretty much what I already do, just with some added steps to add the glaze.
