Well, it was about time for Mayday to get hypnotized and humiliated by my personal favorite Hypnodomme, the Mistress of Magic herself!

Here's a little prelude to the scene I wrote up for anyone interested:

Spider-Girl stood at attention, stiff as a board with her arms resting at either side of her body, the mechanical lenses which covered her eyes were open wide to reflect the dazzled expression behind them. Even though it couldn't be seen with the spandex over her face, Mayday Parker's expression was one of seemingly perpetual surprise; mouth agape, eyes wide with the echo of shock at what she'd seen in the final moments leading up to her now blank-minded state. When she came to help Zatanna set up her show, Spidey hadn't exactly expected the Mistress of Magic to bedazzle her with a mesmeric spell, this one in the shape of a spinning spiral pattern which had emanated from the magician's wand, requesting--no, demanding--the Spider's complete attention.

Now backstage, an hour later, an audience had gathered outside. With a little 'help' from Zatanna, Mayday's own webs had been wrapped around her wrists and her ankles, making her appear like a puppet on strings of her own design.

"You've been such a lovely assistant tonight, Spidey dear," came Zatanna's voice as the magician stepped out of her dressing room.

"Thank you, Zatanna," was Spider-Girl's automatic response, which was spoken in a low monotone voice befitting an absent-minded zombie. Still, a small smile had formed on her lips. She liked being applauded, to know that she was being a good girl.

Zatanna stood before her, looking over the hypnotized heroine as though she was examining a piece of equipment, making sure their performance would go off without a hitch. Satisfied, Zatanna took Spider-Girl's arm in her hand, testing her puppet's movement to make sure nothing was too restricted for what she had in mind. "You remember your instructions, darling?"

"Yes, Zatanna," Mayday replied. "A puppet speaks only the lines it is given. A puppet's movements are to be guided by its strings."

"Good girl. And what does a puppet think?" prodded Zatanna with a knowing smile as she went to testing the Spider's legs.

"A puppet does not think," Spider-Girl replied. "A puppet only does as its Mistress tells it to do."

"And does it feel good not to have a single thought going through your pretty little head?"

"Yes, Mistress."

"Good." Zatanna ran a finger under Spider-Girl's jaw, ending the action in a soft caress. "Now sing me your song once more, little Spider. I need be certain it's absolutely perfect before we go on!"

I write a version of Mayday that kind of is just a genderbent Spidey with a few alterations to make her a little more May-ish on a roleplaying site so shoot, in the context of the picture it's not even that. XD BOOM! Double-whammy.

But if you want to just believe it's a more traditional Mayday that's totally fair, hehe.
