Hello, my friends! I hope you are all doing well. We've finally reached Chapter to of the original Club Spiral series made by the wonderful artist bluebullpen And here, we have Sei Bai Lan from the anime series Burst Angel. This is a really underrated series, so if you get a chance, check it out. It has lots of interesting characters and even a couple of mind control/hypnosis moments in a few episodes. And while the name Bai Lan, which means white orchard in Chinese, is the name of the family syndicate that was run by her Grandfather, it's also described as her family's can name so I'll take the liberty of using it as her family name instead of just calling her by her first name. And of course, here is a small story to go with it.

Most people wouldn't be up at this time. It was nearly midnight and most not working the 'graveyard shift' would be in their warm beds fast asleep, resting for the next day. The beautiful Chinese woman named Sei Bai Lan on the other hand was not one of those people. Her group was currently tracking down leads to a series of mysterious and bizarre incidences involving drugs, genetic mutation, possible human experimentation, and giant glowing brains. Yes, bizarre was a good way of calling this strange case.

Now she was walking down a street which pretty much told her she was not in Tokyo anymore. At least not the Tokyo she knew. The streets were too clean and the constant RAPT patrol units were no where to be seen. This was indeed very strange as in a normal day, you couldn't go ten minutes without hearing their sirens blaring.

Strange as it was, it was also pretty peaceful if one could ignore the strangely named stores and other places along this street. Something told her there was more to it than this, but she just shrugged it off as her being paranoid. Moreover, she was just about to report back to her group when out of the corner of her eye she saw something in the night's sky. She never would have believed it if hadn't seen it for herself if she hadn't looked up and seen it with her own two eyes. That being two beautiful girls floating what may have been a hundred feet off the ground. One was a blue-haired girl whose outfit may have been the skimpiest ice skating or cheerleading outfit she had ever seen.

'And people say my outfit was too revealing.' Sei thought as she saw another girl, this time a short-haired blonde whose huge breasts were completely exposed due to her shirt and bra being torn away completely. Her pants were also splitting at the seams meaning that this girl was either very confused about her clothing sizes or did not have such a figure when she dressed in that outfit.

But more importantly, she noticed that both girl's arms were raised in zombie-like sleepwalking pose as if the girls were under someone else's control.

That caused Sei's frown. Could this be another case of mutation? Remembering how Meg had nearly been brainwashed by the prep school girl who mutated into a monster shortly after Jo rescued her redhaired partner, the realm of mind control was not beyond these poor souls who allowed themselves to be experimented on. She had to investigate and quickly followed the floating girls before they got too far.

It wasn't long before she spotted the pair lading close to a building named 'Club Spiral'. The lights where out, which was quite odd for a night club and she slowly made her way to the door. And to her luck, she found that the front door was left unlocked.

'This guy may be either incredibly stupid or incredibly confidant.' Sei thought to herself. 'Still, I have to get to the bottom of this and I can't wait for the others to try and find me in this strange maze of weird shops.'

Drawing her gun, she slowly crept inside the building and found that the inside was completely dark. But as she walked down the corridor, she saw a light coming from the only room with an open door and several moans can be heard.


"Oh, Master.... so good... Please, Master... More... I'm so yours.... I'll always be your Spiral Slave..."

Sei blushed, as what was causing those moans wasn't lost on her. But then her expression grew angry at that last part.

'Slave?! Those poor girls!' Sei thought. 'Well, I'm going to make sure this 'Master' doesn't get any further than he already has. Even if he is a victim himself.' Sei raised her gun and quietly pressed her back against the door opening, ready to save those two poor girls and maybe even save that young man's soul as well before he turned into some kind of waking monstrosity.
