Is this spam what was killing it? Goddamn it. Made me go somewhere else to gedder dun this morning. Were these compressed by a monkey? 10+ MB in a gif like this is not okay.

10 MB per pic and 28 of them were uploaded in short succession? No wonder the server was failing...

Anyway, here's what I'm now thinking: I have no problems with long sequences. However, since you have to go to the source link anyway to get the story (the source page has the pics and text to go along with them), and many of the pics in this sequence aren't terribly obvious with the MC, I feel like it would be better to just choose a pic in the sequence that is most obviously MC and link the rest on the artist's blog. I would personally choose post #12417 (well, an upload of it without the broken resized version, or if Vanndril can fix it). I dunno, I don't really like deleting images for ambiguous reasons, but I just feel like we don't need the whole sequence (plus, I don't feel like tagging all 27 images). What do other people think?

The server problems were not caused by the gif dump, it was forum #8507.

Fuck em all I say. I'm not downloading 100 MBs worth of gifs anyways. There should be some kind of definite protocol for long series in the future, though. A title_page tag or something to that effect would make it easier to identify things that had a bunch of images following them in their source.
