This one took a while, but I hope it's good. Lines 2,3, and 6 are slightly modified from their actual lines.

There are a couple of things that make me doubt she is being hypnotized.

- The Sweat (she is not relaxed)
- The Arm (she is not relaxed)
- Facial expression (basically led by the mouth)

Removing the sweat and exchanging the mouth would make quite the difference. If that isn't enough, maybe the eyes need to be a little more closed. If you can do it, having both arms hanging down would also give a more relaxed look to the character.

I disagree. I think this looks like she is in the middle of being hypnotized, but still resisting. I like it and I feel like it makes the picture better.

I find that it's actually surprisingly subjective; the signs of H&MC. Depending on the method I would easily lean towards HME's idea portrayal. I personally think that relaxation is the most clear way to show something like hypnosis where as MC might best be shown through shock depending on the method. (It can also be shown through other signs.)

I think the eyebrows of Tenryuu save the image since it goes with the text and it can be seen as a light-hearted comedic resistance. As someone who practices full body manipping, I probably wouldn't say that I think this is better. It's certainly cute but since the text tells a story that deviates slightly from the image, I'd say that this should be more of a two part image where the second half shows Tenryuu completely under.

I wouldn't mind doing that, myself. However it's not really on my 'to do' list. If someone asks for it, I'd be happy to make it, none the less.

I can't do manipulation on the level of redrawing body parts; my art skills just aren't good enough. I could probably remove the sweat and close her eye a little more without much trouble. What kind of mouth were you thinking of?


Time-wise, this manip would be around lines three and four in the text. I'm personally more fond of the process of being hypnotized rather than what happens after (there are a lot of things people do to their subs that I find offensive), so I prefer images which show someone partially under and (usually) half-heartedly trying to resist, as they're usually pretty cute. Chose this image for that reason; Tenryuu wasn't really trying too hard to resist the groping anyway.

It doesn't really take a lot of art skill if you know the loop holes. (I say that from experience.)


I know this question wasn't directed at me but I personally go for an "oh..." sort of mouth. I also like eye-rolling so I'd recommend that too.


I am also rather fond of that process and I consider myself to be one of those people. Even still, I always enjoy seeing someone else the pure trance state after the induction. In fact, to me it sort of feels incomplete to see someone only partially under and resisting. (Even more so when the text implies something after.)
So I would still want to see Tenryuu's posture altered some. Like I said, I wouldn't mine doing if someone else wanted me too.
