No, no. It's only when Pokémon does DLC. Every other game is fine.

If they do pokemon dlc now how come they’ve never done LoZ ones like an extra campaign? Or are their dlcs different from mainstream?

Breath of the Wild had its Master Quest locked behind its first DLC pack, and it also received an expansion to its regular campaign in the second.
