There was a site Lara felt compelled to go to. She had no idea why, she just needed to go after discovering it. She left everyone behind while exploring, eventually finding a the reason for her compulsion; a living illithid. She realized her mistake in coming alone and tried to flee, but the mind flayer was too fast. Lara forgot everything and everyone in an instant, becoming nothing more than a breeding slave for her new master.
