Images might inspire a story that's a little too long to go with an image; this is an experiment to keep the inspiration coupled with the story. The text is the excerpt just before and after the image would have been captured, and is reasonable as a standalone without the rest.

Then there's the text, just thrown on both sides in a generic font with a white background - and the story isn't even complete. There's so much you could do, like using a background that implies some sort of trance, editing the Image, shortening the story and implementing it in a way that's not a wall of text that lacks creativity, artistic sense and devotion to our fetish.
I've said it countless times - just using any image and posting a couple of sentences doesn't make an image hypno-related. I am looking purely at the picture here, because you posted it on the picture board and therefore should be judged as that..

So ... where's the MC in the image? If you want to post a story, there's the forum. I understand that you want to point people to your story, but you should at least use a fitting image.

Nigga I think you need to take a chill pill. Some of us like the stories, some of us just like the images and I get that but it doesn't mean you need to shit on people writing stuff. Clearly he's just experimenting with things here. Blanking out the eyes or whatever gets you off isn't always necessary. Go ask if you can add a "story" tag or something so you can filter it if it really upsets you, I dunno.

I feel the same about images that have no clear MC implications to them. I can understand wanting to paint a picture with someone else's picture but I prefer when writers paint with their words. I can accept it in most cases but in this one the author is just using this image as a book cover. It's hardly relevant enough to be here, in my opinion. That's just me.
It's a lovely image and the text does have MC in it... The mods have final say in the end.

There's a lack of effort as far as the picture part goes. As for the story, he/she already posted it in the forums. I am a big fan of stories, but if you combine it with a picture, you should at least put some effort into the picture part as well.

You may find <<danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=real_xxiii|The artist's images on danbooru>> relevant.
*drama*
As far as lack of effort, this image spent more time in Photoshop than <<hypnohub.net/post/show/12877|12877>> because of all the text recolors and typesetting.
As far as whether or not there's MC in the image, it seems pretty obvious there is without reading any of the rest of the story. Or rather, obvious that there might be, but it's ambiguous, and that's the intention because it draws the viewer into the same situation as the sub. If I added a footnote that read, "all red text is a thought implanted by hypnotic suggestion", would you be ok with it then? If not, why not since it undeniably has MC? If so, do you really think the footnote is actually necessary? Because I don't.
As for everything else about stories/laziness/manips/whatever, I don't really have an opinion, so I just did my research on what was already on the booru. I looked for images that had walls of text and had images unmodified from their linked sources, and there were loads of 'em, and they usually even had the "manip" tag on them. So since I knew it was OK to upload, I made the picture. If there's an issue then it's with the booru, not this one image, so that discussion should probably take place on the forums.

I was thinking about making a forum post the minute after I wrote my comment. I generally like to wait for more interest to gather to a subject matter before making it a forum thread but this has been an off and on issue with the site for a while. I think you're right. It's time we discussed this once and for all. *Dashes off to make a thread*
