This part made me irrationally angry in the anime. In the manga, Kurumu never uses her charm spell on Tsukune after the chapter she's introduced, and makes a point of it. She swears to win Tsukune's heart without any tricks.
So it kinda pissed me off to see the the anime completely ignore that part of her character. (Of course, the anime completely gave up on following the manga shortly after this episode anyway.)

Agreed and such a shame the manga get a proper adaptation. Well least we got the hypno episode song in season 2 and lots and lots of panty shots @.@
