I'll take "shy girl simping over sempai" over whatever the hell Sakura is supposed to be.

Let's be honest with ourselves; naruto didn't have the best set of female characters to pick from.

Tsunade and Temari are arguably the only ones that don't fall in the "above Sakura" pile (literary every character falls under the "above Sakura" pile, and these 2 are even higher up).

Personal opinion after dropping the show ages ago and never looking back.
