The thing about haigure in general is that it canonically appears in exactly one source, and in that source is indicative of someone being mind-controlled. In fanworks, I've never seen any narrative where it's not indicative of mind control. I'm not a fan of haigure, but it's at least as legitimate a mind-control signifier as the "zombie walk", if one with a less venerable pedigree. Sure, the person could just be walking with their arms outstretched for the hell of it, but it functions as a signifier.

I've never understood the "hotness" of it. I guess maybe it's just me. Now, spreading her legs, and maybe her lips there, that's not to bad.

I can sort of understand the appeal of it with a very dignified character like this (she's acting flagrantly out of character in an overtly sexual way, and that drives home the amount of ability to change her behavior) but I've always found it too silly to be sexy.

Nonetheless, I would still argue that it's legitimate as a mind-control signifier on its own, regardless of the state of the eyes or whatnot.
