I'm not well versed in the lore of final fantasy. Is this something this old fart can do in game?

No, while he was a ruthless ruler and did things by force, he could never use mind control with his eyes as seen in here. That being said, I believe he only appears in a very small part of the game, but thats pretty much it........Final Fantasy 15 was pretty bad at alot of things, and the story and especially the characters stories was prob the worst of them

That's because (assuming you're referring to what I think you are) said orc comic was done by me, and is inspired by the exact same scene, down to the dialogue - though the orc comic is more faithful to the scene in the original book in terms of context.

This definitely predates the orc comic when it comes to the idea, though, it just took a long time to finish.
