It's just from learning a certain move. Been around since Gen 4. In this instance, it's from Eevee learning a Fairy type move. (or, more accurately, being taught one) I don't THINK there are any that evolve from being HIT with a certain move though? But there's one that evolves from literally holding the console upside-down, and another that evolves from getting 3 crits in a single battle, so it wouldn't be that surprising.

At the moment, there are any like that. We do have one that evolves from you walking under a certain stone bridge after it takes at least 49 damage in its last battle though.
