Wrong. Yaoi means male on male. This is just malesub. It gets the malesub tag and nothing else. If you want to blacklist solo malesub pics, add "malesub -femsub" to your blacklist.

That being said however I do wish there was a tag for single male or single female things since I don't want to black list and (fem/male)(sub/dom) but at the same time I dont want to see whatever is happening up in this picture. :c

You could try blacklisting "malesub -maledom -femdom". That should hide any pics of male subs with no doms.

Single male isn't significantly different in terms of sexual preference than Yaoi. We either need a new tag for stuff like this like Zko said, or we need to stop being autistic about semantics. Either one is fine.

Except a lot of people only like malesub when the dom can at least be imagined as female. A "gay" tag wouldn't work in this case. Nor would using yaoi.
We already have a way to blacklist and search for "just males but not yaoi". It just required a clever use of a few tags and has already been pointed out by Mindwipe in this chain of comments.
Adding a new tag to cover something that is already covered in other ways is the best way to bloat the list of tags unnecessarily.

Except that the proposed "clever use of tags" doesn't actually work. There are multiple posts that are not male only that would be filtered out by "malesub -maledom -femdom". 13360 is one example.

My mistake, "malesub -femsub -maledom -femdom" would be all solo malesubs.
Edit: Oh, now I see the difference. I forgot about those rare pics where sub are forced to dominate. To be honest, very few would be filtered out by that, but as Vanndril said, you could bring up ideas in the tag thread. I think the "male" and "female" tags used by Danbooru/Gelbooru would be a solution, but a pain in the ass to actually implement.
