I never played final fight but from my undterstanding and from what you said in japan she's all women buy in the states she's a hermaphrodite?

Very True. Very very true. Although Roxy was ALSO a 'newhalf'. I guess the pink hair really did it for Poison too.


This is an interesting discussion, but if I may add that she is a moving image. What we see is female, but philosophically speaking she doesn't even boast a gender. Therefore, she is what we make of her in our imagination. All we SEE is a collection of universals (or qualities) that we associate with a woman (not including the various futa fanart of her thats floating around), therefore the experience is that it is a she we are looking at.

Hermaphrodite or not, it is only a backstory that we hear about (and Capcom having a tease). Enjoy her appearance as it is :)

(That being said, it's completely natural for a man to fall for a hermaphrodite. They boast every female quality minus the genitals, so for one who is none the wiser, it just makes sense)
