For the peeps asking: this was a visual novel called Lovebite.
From the research I could gather, unfortunately, did not go past chapter 2 before being abandoned. I haven't found the reason as to why, so if anyone can fill me in on that, it would be great.

Well, nvm, found out what happened in the comment section of the other submissions for this here.

Turns out, the owner is a known scam artist: was slowly pulling people in with a couple of chapters, before ending up not paying the artists that worked on this and bailed... what a sour end to something that looked REALLY good tbh.
