Mother's Day was often a low-key, but positive experience in the Tubbs-Brown household. Donna's preferred day for attention was her Birthday, since this holiday inevitably brought up some hard memories for Donna at times, but she loved her kids and nothing would change that. Also, of course, Cleaveland Jr. would want to spend part of the day with Loretta.

This year, after all three kids provided the standard gifts and breakfast in bed, Roberta and Rallo had spent a simple but wholesome day watching TV, playing games, and eating junk food with their mom. Donna was thankful that her college bound daughter didn't try to duck out and even guilted her brother into seeing out the day with them before his planned sleepover at a friend's house.

As the final part of their special day, Roberta invited her mom to watch a dumb RomCom in her room and drink the time away until Cleaveland and Jr. got home. Roberta loved her mom and wanted her to be happy for as much of Mother's Day as possible...

When the old school CRT TV/DVD combo started glitching out, the normal white noise for some reason glowing a definite pink. Both women sighed at their spoiled fun, still at least they had the wine and, as they then realised in the soft glow from the fried TV, they also had each other...

A bit later than intended, but here's this years Mother's Day entry for the US (and most of the world) on the second Sunday of May. Rounding off the Fox cartoon/Tinkerbell trilogy... Maybe I'll use the recent CGI Tinkerbell with another show, who knows?
