Typical MC Device. Nothing Canon. haha. Though I wanted to reinforce the "Rings in the eyes" that most kaa like hypnosis gets. So they're perfect visual aids without having to use the snake.

Glad you brought it up. Sisalians (the alien race that Kassidy, Sierra, and Vran here) draw on their tattoos every month. like Henna Tattoo's. So they are completely customizable. (and exploitable for people that want to write naughty things on their bodies)

Its not quite the same if you don't get to see it slipping away, though. Or maybe a little slipping, a little back and forth between states, and then whoopsie, did someone forget to concentrate?

I think it would be cooler (hotter?) if the tattoos were psychic-linked rather than voluntary, changing based on their state of mind.
