Dammit. I didn't want to upload this pic, but people keep posting small versions, for some reason. Oh well, as long as I'm here, I may as well share this gem from the commissioner's comments:

I asked for the exact same style so no it's not the same picture that was slightly modified. He has more integrity than that.

That one practically sent my face through my desk.

....i call bs on that. as much of a legend jimryu is in this community, i fear the point has been reached where all of his works look the same. same body shapes and positions with a few edits.

I still don't mind it. It's a similar pose, but only the hands are directly referenced.

Granted, I'm not exactly the pinnacle of diversity myself... *another standing mindlessly naked at attention with legs together, blank eyes staring ahead, breasts thrust out picture is in the works...*

I think people were uploading smaller versions because the small one doesn't have a watermark.

I must admit to not knowing much about digital art programs, so I don't know if this accusation is accurate or if it used to be true during his heyday but not anymore, but I've heard people accuse Jimryu of making heavy use of templates and default shortcuts to just reproduce the same pictures quickly and without much effort.

So if this is true then the issue isn't so much lack of originality as it is lack of effort. That it isn't just formulaic conceptually as it is actually cranking out cheap product via a formula. For all the admittedly somewhat repetitive content in your pictures, everything that you draw for example at least looks like it's all been done from scratch with genuine effort put into it every time. It reminds me of something I've heard elsewhere on the internet, "Half of what people on the internet think is good art is not so much being good at the fundamentals of drawing as being good at using a digital coloring layer to hide all your shortcomings."
I must admit to coming from a position of ignorance here though, so what I've just repeated may have been bullshit. If any artists on this site want to add their two cents on the issue, I'd welcome it.

In most publication of jimryu (of 70 or 80%) ,the conntent of the comments are critical or negative comments about these pics, many people here do not like; seems that the main problem is that he gets money by doing this; I think it's a good idea to idea that the admins ban the publication of this guy to avoid more conflict?

(Why I cannot found Rosvo pics here?)

We only ever ban an artist if they ask to be banned. People are allowed to post negative opinions of things. We won't ban something just because it causes conflict (and before anyone says anything, IRL manips were banned because they became too much of a pain to moderate, not because people didn't like them). As for Jimryu himself, you're basically right in saying the problem in a lot of people's minds is that he makes money doing this, but allow me to be more descriptive.

There's a difference between having repetitive art (like what Trishbot mentioned about always drawing women standing mindlessly naked at attention with legs together, blank eyes staring ahead, breasts thrust out), and literally copying from bases, which is what Jimryu does. And, no, this is not something he used to do, but then stopped with. He's still doing it. Even ignoring the fact that the girls in this pic look like slightly modified versions of the same bodies in <<hypnohub.net/post/show/14510|this pic>> (do I even need to point out that the girls in that pic appear to have the same body from the chest down, but mirrored and with different arms?), Kaa is clearly just a mirrored copy/paste. And that's not the only recent example. How about <<hypnohub.net/post/show/14456|this recent upload?>> Can you tell me that's not the EXACT same Kaa as in <<hypnohub.net/post/show/2732|this old pic?>> Even the damn tail looks the same, but lengthened so it can coil Tinkerbell. And don't make me drag out the comic examples again. You can make a drinking game out of how many times the same base is used more than once on a page.

So, the problem isn't just that he's making money. It's fine for artists to do commissions. The problem is that he's, for lack of a better word, cheating. He's sacrificing artistic integrity for the sake of turning out quick pics for a profit. And did I mention he once sold a pack of commissions he did? Yes, he sold pics he was paid by other people to make just to make more money on them (granted, he did so with commissioner consent, but WTF?). It just seems like he's found the formula to making a quick dollar, and he's sticking with it no matter what. He's not about art, he's about minimal effort and maximum profit.
