In this episode of Phantom Quest Corp., a young virgin girl is relentlessly stalked by a vampire intent on making her his bride. I'm shocked that a cross with a Star of David on it wasn't very effective... If you're wondering about the middle scene where the vampire is giving her back the cross, it's a different vampire trying to protect her.

Side note, I may watch this all the way through sometime. It's only a 4 episode OVA, it seems funny, and it's got a baddass heroine with a lightsaber lipstick tube.

The reason the cross star didn't work isn't that vampires are weak to holy symbols, they're weak to the faith of the holder of the symbol. (if the symbol's made of pure silver that'd also help but most are plated.) Japan for the most part is a very secular country so there isn't a lot of people who hold faith for either Christianity or Judaism and see their symbols more as jewelry and accessories.
