In this episode of the 1998 Toei version of Yu-Gi-Oh! (otherwise known as Season 0), Shadi uses the Millennium Ankh on Anzu to enter her mind. While under his control, Shadi has Anzu make attempts on Yugi's life to draw out his other persona. When that fails, he challenges Yugi to a shadow game with Anzu's life at stake.

Figuring out where to make cuts in this was tricky, so the video jumps around a lot.

wasn't the guy with the Millennium Keys whole schtick was not to harming Innocents and only harm people that have Disturbed ancient tombs but then he goes out of his way to put an innocent in harm

@GreenDude Don't confuse Duel Monsters Shadi with Season 0 Shadi. That said, I think he does learn a lesson at the end of this episode.

Shaddi in the manga don't care about innocent, he attack the people he see necesary in order to fullfill his mission.

If he need to kill innocent teenagers in order to punish 2 graverobbers, he will do it without hesitation.

Shaddi isn't a good guy at all.

Oh, they used the guns a lot on the manga.

In anycase the setting is other in the manga.

Shaddi brainwash a friend of the Yugi's grandpa on the museum and kills the other one because of graveroobers, then the other ones appears, and shaddi wanted to "wake up" yami yugi, so he took prissioner anzu as a mental slave and forced her to commit suicide if Yugi don't win 3 different games.

Yeah seriously season 0's characters were just kinda bastards all around, like the villains and Yami as well, like Yami straight up murdered people, and so did Mokuba and Shadi just being like kinda amoral. Season 0 was really dark and fucked up lol :D

Also did the Millennium Ankh ever actually get used in the more commonly know series? Like I remember most of the items but...never that one it was always either already returned or like no one had it. Same with the scales...
