this is hilarious, actually. you get the double whammy of Toph not being susceptible to Viper's hypno eyes immediately followed by her not noticing that Viper is... a snake.

that said, I'm not sure why she doesn't notice Viper. if it's just that she's blind, obviously, she's Toph, she should still be able to figure it out

I mean, technically, its possible Toph does notice Mistress Viper's shape and just doesn't care. Her being a snake doesn't *necessarily* mean that mind control is involved, and since they are doing sex stuff, heart rate and breathing being abnormal would cover up the signs she might pick up on that she is entranced.
