I realized something. Of all of Ash's female companions in the canon anime series, Chole is the only one who was never hypnotized/mind controlled in the show (and I think May too).

And this may be a personal opinion but she deserved to be mind controlled.hypnotized tbh. At least she might be "useful" for once. (Man Chloe is so poorly written...)
