right, first of this is a belgian comic book series called de kiekeboes, the girl is the daughter of the mustashed man and the woman tied up, the boy is their son, the other guy is his boss and usually gets the family in to some form of problems.

the comic has been running since the 80's i believe.

I haven't read the series in a while, but the old albums i have read usually where somewhat lightheared, the creator Merho didn't seem racist unlike Tintin's herge.

also just read the quick recap of the plot, basically the boss and the two men are after lost diamonds by a great great aunt of theirs, this album is now also 12 years old. if you really want to know more on the creator i guess you can go to google and search him.

The girl virtually looks the same as someone who married the tribe elder and thereby became their "god". They gave her hypnopills to assure that she thinks she is the actual person, and has to lead them to the diamonds via a ritual. The tribe is following the ritual and in the last one it says they need to paint her red.
