Is there a way to hide certain images? I want to only have 3 of these show up out of the 6, and the rest to be part of the pool

Make the images you want to hide into children.

There does not exist any limit towards what images you can put in a pool.

We really need to change our rules about pools and parent/children now that our software works differently. It's best to parent all posts in a sequence to the first post. I honestly wouldn't worry too much about making pools unless it's a very long sequence of images or just images linked together by a particular theme.
