Nene Fujinoki was a stupid girl. She had no real talents, was clumsy, and was obsessed with a boy that wouldnt notice her if shed been hit by a bus. So naturally, when she spilled her popsicle on a very angry man who was stronger, smarter, and more magically apt than she was in every possible respect her first instinct was to apologize instead of running.

And as her mind turned into hazy goop in her dense skullshe realized just how weak and stupid she really was.
