Using her teleportation, it was easy to get into their study. She rummaged around the messy desk, searching for something useful. She found a tome with strange runes on its cover - now all she had to do was escape with her prize. This was easy. Too easy. She was going to teleport back out, but a strange force negated her spell. She was going to have to escape the old-fashioned way...
Stealthily, she crept through the dark and quiet halls, avoiding any servants or guards. Before she got too far, magical glyphs appeared along every surface. One of them fired a beam of light at her - she recognized it as a disintegration spell. It was too fast for her to react. She opened her eyes - to find that she was still alive. It had stripped her of her clothes. Humiliating, but better than death. She still had a chance to survive this.
If she just continued running, she could get away! But her legs were not moving of her own accord. She kneeled. She couldn't move a muscle, despite all her efforts... And those sigils, they were so pretty... This must be the start of the brainwashing process! She had to resist! She tried to cast a protection spell but couldn't focus enough to complete it. The sigils started to glow, and she felt her mind being overwritten as she shivered in euphoria...

The book fell out of her hands and onto the floor. Her plan was ruined - she wasn't even going to be able to read the tome. But she didn't want to anymore. She loved her owner, and she was so happy to serve. There was nothing else in the world she wanted more than to obey.
